Shukor Yahya is an artist and a Graphic designer. He was born in Kluang, Johor and now resides in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. He has a Masters degree in Art and Design Education.
From 1976 until 1998 he worked in advertising agencies including McCann Erickson, Idris Associates, BBDO where he worked with Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing and finally at Ted Bates as Art Director.
He has been painting full time for the last ten years and started painting kufi squares about five years ago.
